One of those ideas we want to try in testing phases. Most games stick with universal storage, but always wondered how it would be with local banking too. Most likely though it will be universal, but we will see :D

Please don't make it universal banking, this will totally ruin any chance of an active and realistic economy. Local banking would make the game so much better. Tbh, universal banking would be close to a game breaker for me.

Yeah that's why we want to do a lot of testing on local banking. I really want it to work that way and it will be a much better economy.

How do you think local item banking and universal money banking would work?
LIke would it have good effects or bad effects?

Local banking is well better for a sandbox.

That involve realistic clans features that never happen with the universal banking, suck caravans, trade travel, merchant ship and much more. All the solution for travel with good's from a group of player.

Aslo its better for the economy, an item can have a different value depending of the area you buy/sell it, local economy work successfull from these "local" ressources you find only there, millions of posibility for player under the role of a merchand.

Finaly, local bank add another dimension if the game is full-loot... no explain needed for this point.... :D


Universal banking is a pure mecanisme for make easier the game-play, like universal trade system, teleportation system, auto-target, auto-split loot, level based, etc... a sandbox is the opposite of that.
